Loan Processor/Loan Clerk

Tasks

1. Mails loan applications and/or information to members and prospective members. (STAR S1010)
2. Gathers background information on loan applicants. (STAR S200, S210, S700, S720)
3. Interviews loan applicants. (STAR S20, S1010, S1100, S1303)
4. Assists members with the loan application process to ensure completeness of information. (STAR S20, S500, S1020, S1100)
5. Completes loan applications over the phone. (STAR 1303)
6. Verifies employment of persons applying for loans. (STAR S200)
7. Presents application and supporting information to loan officer. (STAR S200, S210, S700, S710, S720)
8. Purges loan files by destroying out-of-date or unnecessary loan documents. (STAR S200, S210, S710)
9. Sends out credit notices to spouses when necessary. (STAR S200, S210)
10. Notifies vendors to place security interest of credit union on title document. (STAR S200, S210)
11. Prepares necessary loan documents for approved loans. (STAR S200, S210)
12. Prepares denial forms for loans declined. (STAR S200, S210, S710)
13. Files and maintains loan records. (STAR S200, S210, S710)
14. Orders, delivers, and stocks supplies for lending area. (STAR S1020)
15. Schedules appointments as necessary. (STAR S1020)
16. Assists members and employees with questions regarding lending services. (STAR S20, S1020, S1100)
