Eric North

 

Eric North is an attorney who has devoted his practice primarily to the representation of credit unions for more than 25 years. Prior to becoming an attorney Eric worked directly within the consumer finance industry in management, operations, lending and collections. He became involved with the credit union movement while in law school. He has argued cases before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, all federal district courts in California, certain federal district courts outside of California by special permission, as well as California state courts. He practices with the law firm of Moore Brewer Wolfe Jones Tyler & North.

In addition to representing clients in California matters, Eric has helped train thousands of credit union employees and attorneys from across the country regarding topics including collections, bankruptcy, privacy and general "legal update" issues. This training is provided through programs like this one in cooperation with state and regional credit union leaguesand associations and CUNA, as well as through monthly webinars and annual conferences hosted directly by his separate business NorthLegal Training and Publications. He has also authored various procedural manuals for credit unions.

Cancellation
