Time and Project Management


How often do we feel that time, one of our most precious resources, is in short supply?  There are so many priorities coming at us and it seems like there is so little time to deal with them effectively, much less take on new projects!  This session in designed with you in mind and will offer a variety of practical tools to help you make better use of your time and give you the power to take control of your resources and focus your efforts where they will produce results.

Janet McDonald

Janet B. McDonald is a Sales Market Manager for CUNA Mutual Group. Working with credit unions, leagues and associations in a 15-state territory, she develops and implements marketing strategies that promote the company's competitive financial services to the credit union industry. She resides in Frankfort, Indiana and serves the states of Connecticut, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Maine, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, New York, Ohio, Tennessee, Vermont and Wisconsin.


Prior to joining CUNA Mutual Group in January 2001, Janet was Senior Vice President/Chief Administrative Officer and CUSO General Manager at Purdue Employees Federal Credit Union in West Lafayette, Indiana, from August 1990 to January 2001. Janet began her credit union career in 1986 with Houston Police Federal Credit Union in Houston, Texas, where she was Executive Vice President. She began her financial services career with Savings of America in Houston, where she was a top-producing Mortgage Loan Officer.


Janet received the Certified Credit Union Executive (CCUE) designation with honors in 2009. Her educational background includes completion of the Executive Development Program at the Stanford University Graduate School of Business in 1997. She also attended Texas Tech University in her hometown of Lubbock, Texas. Janet holds a Life, Accident and Health insurance license in the state of Indiana.


Janet is a frequent speaker and presenter on a variety of topics at industry events including CUNA Mutual Group's Discovery Conference, CUNA Council Conferences, CUNA Volunteer Institute and CUNA Annual Convention. She presents for a number of leagues and associations and she is Co-founder and Past Chairman of the CUNA Human Resources and Training and Development Council.

Rooms are available for $109 plus taxes. Call the hotel for reservations at 615-883-9950. When making reservations, ask for hotel policy on tax exemption and mention the Middle Managers Conference to get the reduced rate. Room cut-off date is TBA.

Cancellation

Refunds will be issued until 10 days prior to the conference, less a $50 administration fee per person. Substitutions accepted anytime. All cancellations and substitutions must be submitted in writing.
