Middle Managers Conference

April 2 , 2008

Program

Delegating, Dumping and the Difference

The delegating process should be positive and successful for both manager and staff. However, there is a difference between effective delegation and the “dumping” of unwanted responsibilities. Even with effective delegating it often difficult for managers and employees to earn other’s trust. This program explores the delegating cycle and how to obtain the results desired between supervisor and employee(s).

To Coach, Or Not To Coach – That Is The Question

Our apologies to Shakespeare. What is the difference between coaching and counseling? How can coaching be used as a motivational tool to encourage positive changes in staff attitude and effort? When is it time to “stop coaching?” This program discusses five steps in the coaching process that can correct and improve performance.
