IRA Essentials is a full-day workshop that gives attendees a solid foundation of IRA knowledge. Exercises are included throughout the day to help participants apply information to job-related situations. Learners will leave this session able to work with IRA owners and process basic IRA transactions with confidence. This is a beginner’s session; no previous IRA knowledge is assumed. The trainer will utilize real-world exercises to help participants apply information to job-related situations. Topics covered are:
Beyond Essentials is a full-day advanced workshop that builds on the learners’ basic IRA knowledge to help them address some of the more complex IRA issues. Previous IRA knowledge is assumed. Learners participate in real-world credit union activities which allows them to apply their learning immediately back on the job. Topics covered are:
Ben Maas is a training consultant for Ascensus, Inc. He is responsible for conducting IRA training programs to meet the needs of financial organizations nationwide. Ben is the product lead for IRA University. His responsibilities include the development, design, implementation, assessment, and maintenance of this curriculum.
Ben holds a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree in Finance from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.
