Bowater Employees Credit Union member Cynthia Humes, has won $1,000 from Bowater Credit Union to her favorite non-profit, Family Cornerstones.
Bowater Credit Union has asked its members to nominate their favorite non-profit helping people in the counties eligible for credit union membership: Bradley, McMinn, Meigs, Monroe, and Polk. Family Cornerstones is the second winner of 2016.
Family Cornerstone’s mission “is to provide knowledge and skills to parents, youth and children to thrive as a strong family,” wrote Humes. “By strengthening families, the schools, churches and community in turn are strengthened.”

The Pay It Forward program will continue through 2016, and that means any member of Bowater Credit Union can nominate their favorite non-profit for a $1,000 Pay It Forward prize.
