Jasmine recently graduated from Walker Valley High School and will soon be starting Lee University in Cleveland, Tennessee, where she will aspire to attain a bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry. “Jasmine is a longtime member of Bowater Credit Union and we are proud to have her representing Bowater Credit Union and her community,” said Kim Gunter, VP Marketing of Bowater Credit Union.

Jasmine submitted an inspiring essay about the value of saving for success, stating, “I am so impressed by how my credit union is a non-profit corporation that prioritizes fulfilling my financial needs. Partnering with my credit union at a young age was one of the first ways I learned responsibility.

The individuals at BECU gladly worked with me as a child and have been consistently helpful throughout my financial maturation.”
