Extending Your Branch Network with Shared Branching

Is your credit union leveraging the benefits of Shared Branching?

The Co-op Shared Branch network empowers credit unions to meet these expectations without making an investment in brick-and-mortar locations. With Shared Branch, members have access to more than 5,500 Shared Branch Locations nationwide.

“At first, we were hesitant to add Shared Branching to our list of services, but now we can’t imagine operating without it,” said Sandra Griffis, manager, CN/IC Employees Credit Union in Memphis, Tenn. “It has enabled us to serve many more employees within our SEG group and has been instrumental in maintaining and growing our membership. When our SEG relocated many local employees to a new headquarters outside our area, Shared Branching ensured we could continue supporting them. It has truly been a lifesaver for our organization.”

Members can make a variety of transactions at all locations, such as:

  • Account Inquiries
  • Deposits
  • Cash Withdrawals
  • Check Withdrawals
  • Transfers Between Sub-Accounts
  • Transfers Between Shared Branching Credit Unions
  • Statement Prints
  • Loan Payments

Some locations even offer additional services, but remember not all locations offer all these services, such as:

  • Money Orders
  • Travelers Checks
  • Notary Service
  • Investment Account Inquiries
  • Visa &/or MasterCard Cash Advances
  • Discount Theme Park Tickets
  • Gift Cards
