International Credit Union Day Celebrations!

Credit unions all across the globe joined together in celebrating International Credit Union Day. A quick search on Facebook shows nearly 3,000 posts of #ICUday celebrations! A few Tennessee credit unions shared with us how they celebrated.  Jack Daniel Employees’ Credit Union celebrated International Credit Union Day all week long.  They bagged goodies for their members to thank them for trusting them to “Have their Back” with a back scratcher.  They also “had them covered” by encouraging them to download SecurLock Equip to help fight card fraud.  Those members who downloaded the app were placed in a drawing for an umbrella.

The Mayor of Lynchburg proclaimed October 21, 2021, as International Credit Union Day in Lynchburg, Tennessee.  Several members also gave back by donating blood to help the local blood bank, Blood Assurance.
Clinchfield Federal Credit Union celebrated with giveaways, door prizes, and treats. They even captured testimonials from members!
Did your credit union celebrate? We’d still love to hear from you. If you have pictures or videos to share, please send them to hello@yourleague.org or tag us on social media.
