Jeff Dahlstrom, NASCUS Advisory Council Chair, Announces State System Summit to be Held in Nashville

Jeff Dahlstrom, president of Southeast Financial Credit Union and NASCUS advisory council chair, announced that the National Association of State Credit Union Supervisors (NASCUS) will convene its Annual Meeting and State System Summit (S3) conference in Nashville from August 27 to 29. This premier event offers a distinctive opportunity for state regulators and credit union system stakeholders to engage with one another through a multi-day platform.

The NASCUS meeting is a forum for dialogue, innovative problem-solving, and collaboration
across the credit union landscape. Attendees will engage on topics that:

  • Promote financial stability and risk management
  • Address issues such as cryptocurrency, blockchain and digital assets
  • Enhance compliance through collaboration
  • Improve internal efficiencies
  • Facilitate technological innovation

Throughout numerous educational sessions and networking events, participants will develop
connections with fellow attendees, regulatory authorities and prominent professionals in the
industry, which will play a vital role in shaping the direction of the credit union movement in
the future.

The venue for this year’s event is Nashville, Tenn., widely known as Music City. As an ideal
location for participants, the city offers a plethora of attractions, including music, culture, arts,
food, sports and shopping. Attendees are highly encouraged to take advantage of this unique
and scenic “only in Nashville” experience by exploring the city during their stay.
