State-Chartered Credit Union Leaders Attend NASCUS Conference

This week, state-chartered credit union leaders from across the country gathered in Philadelphia, Penn., for the National Association of State Credit Union Supervisors (NASCUS) State Summit. The annual event brings together state-chartered credit union leaders, regulators and industry professionals to discuss key issues facing the credit union system and share insights, ideas and best practices.

Kim Bohannon, chief innovation officer, represented the Association at the conference and spoke about the critical role of effective board governance. Strong board leadership is essential to helping credit unions navigate an evolving financial landscape, make informed strategic decisions and remain focused on serving their members and communities.

The Association was also pleased to see Tennessee credit union leaders participating in this important industry event.
