There are only eight more weeks of 2025! With the end of the year quickly approaching, we invite you to schedule time to run Project Zip Code in early 2026 to help map membership information.
What is Project Zip Code?
Project Zip Code (PZC) is a secure, user-friendly computer program that counts your members and assigns them to their congressional, state legislative, and county districts. This information is then uploaded to America’s Credit Unions’ PZC website, where it is combined with data from credit unions nationwide. PZC ensures complete data security, transmitting only the number of credit union members to the national database, meaning specific member data remains private and cannot be viewed by anyone outside your organization.
Participation in PZC supports federal and state advocacy initiatives, and it also offers operational benefits. Credit unions can access data showing the number of their members within specific geographic areas, which can be valuable for strategic placement of ATMs and shared branching services.
Cloud-Based Process
America’s Credit Unions is excited to announce that Project Zip Code (PZC) is now offering a cloud-based upload process, making the submission of data more easy, streamlined and accessible. This update eliminates the need to install a desktop application, while still maintaining the same level of security and data protection as the current system.
