Southern Security Federal Credit Union officially celebrated the grand opening of its new $8 million member services branch and corporate headquarters in Collierville with a ceremonial ribbon cutting on Monday, December 15, 2025. Located at 819 Southern Home Road, the state-of-the-art facility marks a significant milestone in the credit union’s commitment to its members, employees, and hometown community.
Community leaders, local officials, business partners, and members joined Southern Security’s leadership team for the ceremony, which highlighted the organization’s 77-year history of service and its long-standing investment in the Mid-South.
“This new headquarters is more than just a building—it represents our continued commitment to the people and communities we proudly serve,” said Dawn Graeter, president and CEO. “We’ve been community-focused since the day we opened our doors. Cutting this ribbon alongside our partners and members was a reminder of how far we’ve come and how much opportunity lies ahead.”
The new facility supports Southern Security’s rapid growth across the Mid-South. It features modern workspaces for employees, dedicated corporate training areas, a full-service member branch, and both in-person and electronic drive-through banking options. Designed to enhance operational efficiency and elevate the member experience, the expanded headquarters positions the credit union for future innovation and service expansion.
“Southern Security exists to help our members strengthen their financial well-being,” Graeter added. “This investment allows us to serve more people than ever before with the same exceptional service our members have trusted for 77 years.”
Founded in 1948, Southern Security now serves more than 23,000 members and over 500 partner organizations, with $247 million in assets. The credit union continues to be recognized for better rates, lower fees, and award-winning service across the Mid-South.
