Tennessee Credit Unions Celebrate #ILoveMyCreditUnion Day

Credit unions and leagues from across the country took to social media on Friday in support of the annual #ILoveMyCreditUnion campaign. The one-day event demonstrates the power of the credit union movement to come together for a common cause.

Tennessee credit unions used the event to celebrate members by hosting special in-branch giveaways.

Healthcare Services Credit Union in Chattanooga offered members a sweet treat from Ben and Jerry’s and had custom T-shirts printed.

Others like Clinchfield Federal Credit Union in Erwin, Enrichment Federal Credit Union in Oak Ridge and UT Federal Credit Union in Knoxville had fun with #ILoveMyCreditUnion Day photo booths and props.

Horizon Credit Union in Kingsport created special event T-shirts.

Appalachian Community Federal Credit Union in Kingsport launched its first-ever Camp Appy and gave students an inside look at the credit union and a preview of personal finance.

“The #ILoveMyCreditUnion Day is a testament to the cooperation among credit unions,” said Fred Robinson, president and CEO of the Tennessee Credit Union League. “It is inspiring to see how credit unions celebrate their members and to hear member stories about how the credit union has made a tangible difference in their lives.”

Thank you to all who participated in the collective campaign and celebrated the credit union difference. Your efforts helped to keep credit unions top-of-mind among consumers.
