ETMA Federal Credit Union Rebrands to Tennessee Military Federal Credit Union

After much consideration, deliberation and conversation, East Tennessee Military Association Federal Credit Union (ETMA) officially changed its name to Tennessee Military Federal Credit Union on Jan. 1.

“This decision was made due to assumptions in our community that the “East” in our name implies we only serve a select region of our beautiful state,” said Beth Kamer, CEO of Tennessee Military Federal Credit Union. “However, we serve the entire state of Tennessee. Now our name reflects this and invites more people to become members.”

The logo features an updated version of the Minute Man, a symbol often associated with the National Guard, which is a significant component of Tennessee Military Federal Credit Union’s membership base.

Tennessee Military Federal Credit Union, headquartered in Louisville, Tenn., near McGhee Tyson Airport, has served military families across the state since 1956.
