Dawn Gibson was named to Life Credit Union’s Board of Directors. Gibson had previously served on Life’s Supervisory Committee for two years.
Dawn Gibson is the practice administrator for MidState Pulmonary Associates. Prior to her current position, Gibson spent fourteen years with Saint Thomas Health. At Saint Thomas Midtown Hospital she managed the Metabolic Surgery Center, was operations director for Women’s Services and most recently served as manager of Access Services. Gibson was named Saint Thomas Midtown Hospital’s Leader of the Year, an award presented to one who best demonstrates the organization’s mission and values. The award exemplifies one who is visionary, proactive, results- oriented, and inspirational to the staff in reaching new goals of integrating quality and safety into daily leadership. Gibson is also a current member of Saint Thomas Midtown Hospital’s Ethics Committee.
Life Credit Union’s Board is comprised of credit union members who serve voluntarily and are elected by the membership. The board directs the strategic direction, general oversight and policies of the credit union along with the management team.
