Credit unions are invited to attend Nashville Post Office Credit Union’s blood drive on Wednesday, July 1, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. CT at credit union, located 10 Rachel Drive in Nashville.
“Blood donations save lives—sometimes the lives of our own neighbors, friends, family members or even small children,” said Cristy Skinner, CEO of Nashville Post Office Credit Union. “Some of you may know, I work PRN at Midtown Hospital in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, where I get to witness nurses and doctors saving premature and/or extremely sick and unstable babies on a daily basis. Just this weekend, we had to administer three blood transfusions to our sick and fragile premature babies who are fighting for their lives. I believe that we can come together as a team and ensure that hospitals in our immediate communities have the resources, they need to save these innocent lives.”
