ORNL FCU’s CUSO Rebranding as 7

CU Community, LLC is a wholly owned credit union service organization (CUSO) of ORNL Federal Credit Union (ORNL FCU) in Oak Ridge, Tenn.  On May 1, CU Community rebranded as 7, a CUSO dedicated to making credit unions stronger through collaboration; offering top tier products and services; and providing unparalleled support to its clients and partners.  As part of the exciting new changes, the sub-companies of the CUSO will also be branded under the 7 umbrella as 7 Mortgage, 7 Title, and 7 Insurance.

Rooted in the seven principles of the credit union movement, 7 is made of experienced credit union professionals with the passion, insight, and innovation to help credit unions thrive.  The theme of the new brand is STRENGTH IN NUMBERS which points to the CUSO’s commitment and belief that credit unions are truly stronger together.

“The sixth principle of credit unions is ‘cooperation among cooperatives’ and our continued focus will be on helping partner credit unions better serve their members, “ said Chris Boler, President & CEO of 7. “By working as a partner with credit unions, 7 is able to offer the best mortgages, title services, and insurance products in the market.”

A perfect example of this cooperative spirit is the partnership between ORNL FCU and Y-12 Federal Credit Union, both part owners of 7 Title and 7 Insurance.  By working together, the two organizations are accomplishing things for their members that would not be possible apart.
