Three Ways to Support the Boots & Bowties Charity Fundraiser

Exemplify the credit union mission of “people helping people” at the inaugural Boots & Bowties Charity Dinner and Gala, a signature fundraising event to benefit two causes dear to our association, Credit Union for Kids and Inheritance of Hope.

Plus, in addition to helping two amazing nonprofits, you can have dinner on the stage of the Grand Ole Opry on Monday, April 20! Learn three ways to help!

1. Attend the Fundraiser

Join us on the evening of Monday, April 20, at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville. The evening will include dinner, a live auction and a special singer-songwriter performance, creating a meaningful impact in support of Credit Union for Kids and Inheritance of Hope. A limited number of seats are available, so make your reservation today!

2. Secure Auction Items

Our fundraiser will include an online and live auction, so need your help! We are seeking auction items with a minimum value of $250. Popular donations include experiences, sports or concert tickets, weekend getaways, themed gift baskets or unique items that reflect your credit union and community. If you are interested in helping, please email us.

3. Share Event Information

With a first-year event, we need help educating people about the inaugural fundraiser. Please share with your volunteer leaders and employees. There will be options to donate directly to the event to help us reach our fundraiser goal to benefit Credit Union for Kids and Inheritance of Hope.

Here’s how we’re making a difference:

  • Children’s Miracle Network has five children’s hospitals in Tennessee and one children’s hospital in Mississippi. Proceeds will be evenly distributed to each hospital and used at the hospital’s discretion to best serve pediatric patients.
  • Inheritance of Hope will use the proceeds to host a Legacy Retreat® in Nashville this November for families facing terminal illness. Legacy Retreats® are a multi-day destination experience for families to make priceless memories, build a lasting legacy together and receive tools to navigate the challenges of a parent’s terminal illness.
